“ Always a great experience at Red Apple Cafe. Love seeing super waitress Rebecca when we eat there. The food is hot and delicious, I've never had a bad meal at Red Apple. Good-sized parking lot, too. So happy to go to this wonderful locally owned restaurant. ”
“ I really enjoyed my time at the Red Apple Cafe. These are the type of restaurants that I like to support. They have a great outside dining area, but we chose to eat inside. I loved the rustic ambiance of this cafe. Our service was fantastic. I got eggs over easy with country potatoes. The country potatoes are the best I have ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. They overcooked one of the eggs a bit, but that's ok. Next time I will remember to get Sunny-side up. I got a biscuit and gravy and it was so darn good. The mini pancakes are not mini at all. They were cooked to perfection as well. When I am in Aptos for breakfast or brunch, I will come here again. ”

“ A good locals' spot for hearty breakfasts! Warm and attentive service from our host and servers. Come hungry, the portions are substantial. It wasn't a super busy Friday morning when we visited so we were seated promptly and didn't have to wait long after our entrees after we ordered. I sub'd out the toast with their homemade muffin, which was large and warm and served with butter on the side. They also kept our coffee mugs topped up! Homey decor, with some local art on display. Outdoor seating is available. ”
“ Returned to Aptos almost a year later and Red Apple Cafe remains among one of my favorite breakfast places in the area. It gets busy on the weekends, so expect a wait, but don't be discouraged because the wait doesn't tend to be long. You can expect your typical diner style menu with pages and pages of breakfast options from sweet to savory, healthy to unhealthy, small and large. The portions here are big so plan accordingly to possibly share, not finish your meal, or take home leftovers. ”
“ Fantastic Breakfast today at Red Apple in Aptos. Super service and the food was amazing. My wife had the Chocolate chip macadamia pancakes with coconut syrup. They were amazing and so rich, she had to take one home. My crab cake Benedict was also very rich but really outstanding. Two hearty thumbs up for Red Apple!! ”

Between the four of us, we enjoyed corned beef hash with poached eggs; sausage and eggs; Spinach Mushroom omelet; and burger patty with fried eggs. Several came with delicious fried potatoes; choice of toast or corn tortillas for GF. Yum! Terrific service by Naomi and team. Coffee and hot water refills were on the spot. Good communication and appropriate attentiveness. Ambiance is a bit County. Although seasonally decorated, it might be time for an update. Nearby the Seascape Resort, next to Highway 1. A bit hidden; upstairs. Plentiful parking; lots of indoor and outside seating ”
